Signing Time Academy Information
The topics below make up the suggested organization of Signing Time Academy class sessions, which were originally designed for ages 3-8. However, adjustments to the material are be made to match the group’s needs or wants, including making adjustments based on age. Many other signs are taught and practiced so that students may hold conversations in ASL on topics that interst them.
In this way learners of any age or interest can have fun while learning American Sign Language, and groups can learn the signs that are most important to them.
Each class is based on FUN! Age-appropriate games, activities, music and poetry give opportunities for practice in a playful way.
